Adult Paddling Trip to the PA Grand Canyon's Pine Creek — June 5-7, 2015

Join in YoliJwa’s new off-site trip combining river paddling and YoliJwa style camping. This weekend’s trip takes us on approximately 25 miles of the Pine Creek stretching from Mount Tom to Slate Run. Using this route, we will be traveling through the heart of the PA Grand Canyon. You’ll enjoy great scenery and Christian fellowship along the way.

The group will be “slack-packing meaning that each member will carry their personal lunch, snacks, water and necessary gear in their boat. A dry bag is recommended to carry this gear. Staff will shuttle campers’ remaining gear throughout weekend to desired locations when necessary.

Plan to paddle approximately 19 miles on Saturday and another 6 miles on Sunday. There will be time on Friday for some basic paddling instruction.

For more information about this exciting event, visit Camp YoliJwa’s website at http://www.campyolijwa.org/adult-paddling-trip/.
